Transport Symbol

The Transport Symbol is used to identify Singapore’s integrated public transport system.

The ubiquitous Transport Symbol appears on signs which provide visual markers to public transport nodes. Do look out for the Transport Symbol to locate MRT or LRT station entrances, Bus stops and Taxi stands.

The Transport Symbol is also found on information materials such as the MRT and LRT System Map. It is also displayed on the Map Application at PublicTransport@SG.

Specific to each mode of transport, there are correspondingly four Mode Logos namely:

RED MRT mode log
GREEN LRT mode log
BLUE BUS mode log
BROWN TAXI mode logo

Mode Logos appear on signs and information which relate to each respective mode of transport. For example, the RED MRT and GREEN LRT Mode Logos appear on MRT and LRT station entrance signs; the BLUE Bus Mode Logo appears on Bus stop/ Bus Interchange signs; and the BROWN Taxi Mode Logo appears on Taxi stand signs.

In PublicTransport@SG, the same MRT, LRT, Bus and Taxi Mode Logos are also displayed on the Map Application, to point out the locations of MRT and LRT stations, Bus stops and interchanges, and Taxi stands respectively. You can click on the MRT, LRT and Bus Mode Logos on the map to find out more about the particular MRT/ LRT station and bus stop/ bus interchange. (Note: The mode logos are sometimes shown without the accompanying mode descriptions due to space constraints)
