NAVIGATING THE MAP APPLICATION
With the comprehensive and intuitive Map Application, travel is made even easier! There are 4 ways of using the Map Application search features:
1. Searching by Location
To plan your trip, you can pinpoint your location and the Map Application will display information of the MRT stations and bus stops within the vicinity.
Each bus stop/ bus interchange is represented by a BLUE Bus Mode Logo on the Map. You can click on the Bus Mode Logos to show information such as the bus stop description, available bus services, and arrival times (if available).
If you are unsure what bus to take to your destination, you can first click on the bus stop, and then click on the Road Index. This will show the roads covered by the bus services at the bus stops, in alphabetical order. Once you have found the service that goes to your destination, you can click on the individual bus service numbers to view and download the remaining route of the service with respect to the selected stop. This information is also available on bus service information posters at all bus stops island-wide.
Passengers-in-wheelchair (PIW) can also look out for the handicapped symbol next to the arrival time of the next Wheelchair Accessible Bus (WAB) at selected bus stops where the arrival time is available.
MRT/LRT Stations
You can click on the RED MRT Mode Logo or GREEN LRT Mode Logo to show the MRT Index and LRT Index that will show the route details for the rail line that the MRT/LRT station serves.
You can choose a specific bus service number under the Bus Service No. drop tab, and the Map will display the route of the selected bus service, together with details of the origin and destination. You can also zoom into the Map to see the locations of individual bus stops that the particular route covers. At this zoom level, you will get to see the clickable bus stop icons with the information relating to that bus stop's services.
To see all the stops that the bus services, click on the Route Info button.
If you select an MRT or LRT station in this category, the Map Application will show you the selected MRT or LRT stations (marked with a star) within the vicinity. The features of this search option are similar to the "Searching by Bus Service" feature.
If you select Bus Interchange / Bus Terminal in this category, the Map Application will show you the Bus Interchange / Bus Terminal (marked with a star) within the vicinity. The features of this search option are similar to the "Searching by Bus Service" feature.
